What does streaming TV success look like for a small business? Usually not a huge budget. It looks like a plan that fits on one card: a goal, an area, an ad with one next step, and a way to tell whether it worked.

The five playbooks below show what that plan looks like for five different businesses. They are illustrative scenarios, not case studies: we describe the plan, not invented results. At the end you will hear from three real Omnya customers in their own words.

Playbook #1: Local Restaurant Chain

Illustrative scenario

A fast-casual chain with four locations

Goal
Fill more tables on weekends during the slow January and February stretch.
Audience / area
The ZIP codes within about 3 miles of each location, narrowed to families and food and dining interests.
Channels & budget
Streaming TV at $25 a day per location, for eight weeks.
The ad
A 30-second spot with menu highlights, family tables and one TV-only winter offer.
What to measure
Offer redemptions, weekend covers against the same weeks last year, and visits to the online menu.

Broadcast TV in a big metro is usually priced for the whole market, and social ads alone can struggle to turn into visits. A tight radius around each door means the budget only reaches homes that can drop in for dinner.

The TV-only offer does the measuring. Every time a server hears the code, that is one visit you can connect to the ad.

Playbook #2: Boutique Fitness Studio

Illustrative scenario

A Pilates and yoga studio opening a second location

Goal
Book trial classes for the new studio before and after opening day.
Audience / area
The ZIP codes within about 5 miles of the new address, narrowed to health and fitness interests.
Channels & budget
Streaming TV at $20 a day plus YouTube at $10 a day, for about 12 weeks.
The ad
A 30-second studio tour with real instructors and an opening offer on the first month.
What to measure
Trial bookings on a dedicated landing page, then how many of those people actually show up.

A new location needs people to know it exists before it opens. Seeing the real studio and the real instructors on a big screen gives people a feel for the place before they commit to a class.

Bookings alone can flatter a campaign. Tracking show-ups in your booking system tells you whether the ad brought the right people.

Playbook #3: Home Security Company

Illustrative scenario

A regional home security provider in one metro

Goal
More quote requests from the areas the company actually serves.
Audience / area
The ZIP codes of the service area, pasted in bulk, narrowed to home improvement interests.
Channels & budget
Streaming TV at $40 a day and Display at $10 a day, with Google Search running in the company’s own Google Ads account.
The ad
A 30-second spot about local ownership and a simple, no-pressure quote, with one short web address.
What to measure
Quote-form submissions tracked by the Omnya pixel, calls to a number used only in the ad, and branded searches.

Regional companies compete against national brands that can afford national TV. Streaming TV lets a smaller player show up on the same screens, but only in the ZIP codes it can install in.

Pairing TV with Search makes sense here. People who see the ad often look the company up before they ask for a quote, so it helps to be the first result when they do.

Playbook #4: Automotive Repair Shop

Illustrative scenario

An independent repair shop with two locations

Goal
Bring in new customers during the slower summer months.
Audience / area
The ZIP codes within about 7 miles of both shops, narrowed to car and auto service interests.
Channels & budget
Streaming TV at $20 a day and Audio at $10 a day for drive time, over the summer.
The ad
A 30-second spot with real customers, the shop’s certifications and a summer A/C check special.
What to measure
Calls to a tracked number, online bookings and A/C check redemptions, compared with last summer.

Independent shops live on word of mouth, which is steady but slow to grow. Being seen on TV adds a kind of credibility that a review page can’t, and a seasonal offer gives people a reason to book now.

Audio reaches drivers on the way to work, which is exactly when a strange noise from the engine is on their mind.

Playbook #5: E-Commerce Furniture Brand

Illustrative scenario

An online-only furniture brand selling nationwide

Goal
Find new customers for the holiday season beyond social and search ads.
Audience / area
Nationwide, using home decor interests and a recent movers audience segment.
Channels & budget
Streaming TV at $100 a day and YouTube at $30 a day, alongside Meta ads in the brand’s own Meta account.
The ad
A 30-second lifestyle spot showing the furniture in real homes, with a QR code and a holiday code.
What to measure
Site visits and orders tracked by the Omnya pixel, plus holiday code redemptions.

Online brands that lean only on social and search ads can find costs creeping up and tracking getting harder. Streaming TV reaches people on the biggest screen in the house, and a QR code turns that moment into a visit.

Once the pixel has seen enough visitors (10,000), the brand can add retargeting to bring back people who browsed but didn’t buy.

What Real Omnya Customers Say

The playbooks above are scenarios. These three quotes are not: they come from real Omnya customers, shared in their own words.

“Omnya made CTV ads simple and affordable for my business!”
Samer, DNA Fitness Performance
“Never thought buying TV ads could be this easy. To see your brand on TV is next level stuff.”
Mark, Varitage
“TV Ads complimented our search and social media campaigns in a great way, clients see our brand on all screens now!”
Sam, Nxgn Arena

Common Success Factors

The five playbooks look different on the surface. Underneath, they share the same few habits.

  • Precise targeting. Start with geography, then narrow with interests or audience segments. Housing, credit, insurance, political and health advertisers should lead with location only.
  • One compelling offer. A clear reason to act now, carried by a code, a phone number or a short web address you can count.
  • Measurement set up before launch. The Omnya pixel on your site, a tracked number, and a note of where things stood before the ads ran.
  • Local differentiation. Say what makes you different: local ownership, real customers, the street you are on.
  • Sustained investment. A steady daily budget over several weeks lets people see the ad more than once. One week rarely tells you much.
A modest budget with a clear goal usually beats a big budget with a vague one.

When the card is filled in, building the campaign is the easy part. See how a campaign comes together.
