Frequently asked questions.

Straight answers about pricing, channels, targeting, creatives, reporting and running Omnya for clients. All 81 of them, on one page.

Getting started

What Omnya is, who it is for and how to begin.

What is the Omnya Self-Serve Platform?

It’s an online platform for planning, launching and measuring your own ad campaigns on Streaming TV (CTV/OTT), YouTube, Display, Audio, Meta and Google Search, with one wallet and one set of reports.

What is Omnya?

Omnya is an omnichannel advertising platform for small and medium businesses and the agencies that serve them. You plan, launch and measure Streaming TV, YouTube, Display, Audio, Meta and Google Search campaigns from one place.

What channels do you support?

Six. Streaming TV (CTV/OTT), YouTube, Display and Audio are bought in Omnya; Meta (Facebook & Instagram) and Google Search run in your own connected ad accounts. TikTok, Snapchat and Google Analytics can be connected for reporting.

Do you handle ad placements on social media?

Yes, on Meta: Facebook and Instagram campaigns run in your own connected Meta ad account, where Meta is turned on for your account, and Meta chooses the placements. TikTok and Snapchat can be connected for reporting only.

What kind of businesses is this for?

Small and medium businesses in most industries, and the agencies that run campaigns for them. See the industries we serve for examples.

What types of businesses benefit most from CTV/OTT ads?

Businesses that serve a defined area or audience, such as restaurants, retail stores, home services, auto dealers and fitness studios. Check the list of industries we serve.

What industries do you specialize in?

We work with SMBs across industries, including auto dealers, restaurants, home services, healthcare, real estate and retail. Each has its own page under Industries.

What streaming platforms will my ads appear on?

Streaming TV packages include apps such as Hulu, Peacock, The Roku Channel and Tubi. Sign up to see the Marketplace, which lists every package with its publishers and price.

Will my ads show during specific shows?

No. You choose a package of publishers, not individual shows, and your ads play in ad breaks on the apps in that package.

Do I need technical skills to use the platform?

No. The platform is built for beginners: a guided wizard walks you through every step of a campaign.

Do I need technical knowledge to use your services?

No. The help center explains every step, and our support team can help with technical tasks such as installing your tracking pixel.

How do I get started?

Sign up on our website, verify your business details (it takes a few minutes), then follow the step-by-step guide to build your first campaign.

How do I sign up for the platform?

Visit our website, click “Start a campaign”, and create your account with your email address or your Google account.

Is my data secure on the platform?

Yes. Saved cards are stored securely by Stripe, not by Omnya, and our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and protect your information.

Pricing & billing

Starting CPMs, budgets, the wallet and how you pay.

How much does it cost to run a campaign?

You set your own budget, from $10 a day per campaign. Starting CPMs are $18 for Streaming TV, $9 for YouTube, $15 for Audio and $5 for Display, with no subscription and no platform fee.

How much does it cost?

Omnya is pay as you go at the starting CPMs on our pricing page, with no subscription and no platform fee. Agencies set a wholesale and a retail price on each campaign and keep the margin.

Do I need a big budget to advertise on TV?

No. You can start with a budget that fits your business: campaigns start at $10 a day, and the forecast tells you before you pay whether your budget will deliver in full.

Can you help small businesses with limited budgets?

Yes. Omnya is built for small and medium businesses: campaigns start at $10 a day, and you only pay for the campaigns you run.

What is the minimum spend for a campaign?

$10 a day per campaign. There is no subscription and no platform fee on top.

How do I set a budget for my campaign?

Set a daily budget and your dates. The Campaign Forecast updates as you go and shows your estimated impressions and whether the plan will deliver in full, and what to change if it might not.

Do I pay upfront for my campaigns?

Yes. You pay a campaign’s full budget when you launch it, from your wallet, a card or both. Any budget it doesn’t spend is credited back to your wallet when it ends.

How do I pay for your services?

By card. Top up the advertiser’s wallet or pay at checkout; you pay each campaign’s budget when you launch it. Pay Later, which charges a saved card shortly before a scheduled campaign starts, can be turned on per advertiser by our team. Meta campaigns are billed by Meta.

Are there any hidden fees?

No. There is no subscription, no platform fee and no card processing fee on top-ups or checkout, and you see the full order summary before you pay.

Do I need to sign a long-term contract?

No, our platform is pay-as-you-go with no long-term commitment.

Targeting & audiences

Where your ads run and who sees them.

Can I choose who sees my ads?

Yes. Choose locations, then narrow by interests and behaviours, age and detailed demographics such as household income. Ads for housing, credit, insurance, health and political causes follow stricter targeting rules.

Can I target local customers only?

Yes. Focus your campaign on specific cities, counties, metro areas or ZIP codes (you can paste ZIP codes in bulk), or a radius of 10 miles or more around your address.

Can I target specific locations?

Yes. Search states, metro areas (DMAs), counties, cities, ZIP codes and congressional districts, and include or exclude each one. Every result shows its approximate reach.

How do you ensure my ads reach the right audience?

You choose the audience: locations, interests and behaviours, age groups and up to two detailed demographics, or a custom audience built from your customer list where it’s enabled. The forecast shows your estimated reach before you pay.

Can I run ads internationally?

Not today. Omnya campaigns target locations in the United States; expanding beyond the US is on our roadmap.

Creatives

What to upload, and what Omnya can and can’t make for you.

How do I upload my ad video?

Upload it to your Creative Library in a few clicks, then add it to a campaign. Streaming TV takes an MP4 at 1920×1080 or 1280×720 (16:9) that runs 15 or 30 seconds.

What if I don’t have a video ad?

Streaming TV needs a finished 15- or 30-second video, and Omnya doesn’t produce TV commercials. You can start with Display banners, made in the built-in image editor, or an Audio spot while you get a video made.

Do you offer creative services for ads?

We don’t make ads for you. Omnya includes an image editor for banners in every accepted size, an audio editor that trims spots to 15 or 30 seconds, and Google Search ads written from your website.

How do I make sure my ad stands out?

Use clear messaging and eye-catching visuals, show your name early, and end on one simple call to action. That’s the secret.

Launching & managing campaigns

From setup to pause, edit and cancel.

How long does it take to launch a campaign?

Setting up takes minutes. Campaigns can start as soon as 24 hours after you set them up, and ads are reviewed before they run, usually within 24 hours.

How quickly can a client campaign go live?

Setup takes minutes and the start date must be at least a day ahead. The pre-launch checks show anything that’s missing before you pay.

Can I edit my campaign after it’s launched?

Yes. You can change a live campaign’s name, budget, targeting and creatives, or pause, resume or cancel it from the Campaigns page.

What if my campaign doesn’t perform well?

You can adjust your targeting, budget or creatives to improve results.

Can I run multiple campaigns at the same time?

Yes, you can manage several campaigns through the platform.

Can you manage multiple ad channels for me?

All six channels run from one workspace, and each channel is its own campaign. Simple Setup can set up Streaming TV, YouTube, Display and Audio in one go, with one budget, one audience and one set of dates.

Can I run seasonal or short-term campaigns?

Yes, you can launch campaigns for any dates you choose.

Reporting & results

How you see what your ads did.

Can I track the performance of my campaign?

Yes. OmnyView and a report for each channel show impressions, clicks, completion rates and conversions, and you can share any report with a link.

How do I know if my campaign is working?

You’ll get clear performance metrics like impressions, clicks and completed view rates, plus website visits and conversions once the Omnya pixel is installed.

Can I track the performance of my ads?

Yes. Each campaign has a detailed channel report, OmnyView compares channels side by side, and Report Builder can email reports on a schedule where it’s enabled.

Can you help with analytics?

Yes. OmnyView shows every channel in one report, each channel has its own report, and connecting Google Analytics adds a report on how visitors reach and use your website.

Pixel & retargeting

Measuring visits and conversions, and reaching people who visited your site.

What is a Pixel?

A Pixel is a small piece of code that tracks visitors to your website and helps target ads.

Why do I need a Pixel?

The Omnya pixel measures website visits and conversions from your Streaming TV, Audio and Display campaigns, and it builds the audience that unlocks retargeting.

How do I install a Pixel?

Open Tracking Tags in the app, create a pixel and pick how your site is built (Google Tag Manager, Shopify, WordPress, Wix, Squarespace and more), then follow the steps. For a manual install, paste the code into the <head> of every page.

Can I use the Pixel to track conversions?

Yes. The pixel measures visits and conversions from your Streaming TV, Audio and Display campaigns. For Meta and Google Ads, add the event snippet to the page where the conversion happens, such as your thank-you page.

How do I make sure my Pixel is working correctly?

Once the pixel is working, its card in Tracking Tags shows as active with event counts for today, yesterday and the 7-day average.

How long does it take for the Pixel to start working?

It starts recording visits once the code is on your site. Visit your site, then check the pixel card in Tracking Tags for today’s event count.

Will my Pixel work on all websites?

It works on most websites, as long as you can edit the site’s code or use one of the supported platforms, such as Google Tag Manager, Shopify, WordPress, Wix, Squarespace or BigCommerce.

What is retargeting?

It’s showing ads to people who’ve already interacted with your business.

How does retargeting work on Omnya?

Retargeting is a campaign goal on Streaming TV, Display and Audio. It unlocks once your tracking pixel has recorded 10,000 visitors, and then shows your ads to people who visited your website.

How does retargeting help my business?

It keeps your business in front of people who already showed interest, while they’re still deciding.

Do I need a Pixel for retargeting?

Yes. The pixel records your website visitors, and the Retargeting goal unlocks once it has recorded 10,000 of them.

How do I set up a retargeting campaign?

Install your pixel, and once it has recorded 10,000 visitors, choose the Retargeting goal on the first step of a Streaming TV, Display or Audio campaign.

Can I retarget people who visited specific pages on my website?

The Retargeting goal uses the visitors your pixel records. For a narrower audience, such as visitors to one page, ask your account manager about a custom audience.

Can I exclude people who already converted from my retargeting ads?

There is no self-serve exclusion setting for this in the campaign builder. Ask your account manager what’s possible for your account.

How long do I retarget someone after they visit my website?

The Retargeting goal uses the visitor audience your pixel builds; there is no look-back window to set in the campaign builder. Ask your account manager if you need a specific window.

Can I retarget people who added products to their cart but didn’t buy?

Not as a self-serve option: the Retargeting goal reaches your site’s visitors as one audience. For a cart-abandoner audience, ask your account manager about a custom audience.

How do I track the effectiveness of my retargeting?

Each campaign’s channel report shows how its ads performed, including clicks and conversions, and OmnyView compares it with your other campaigns.

Can I use retargeting for multiple products or services?

Yes. Run a separate campaign for each product or service, each with its own creatives and landing page.

Can I create custom retargeting audiences?

Where custom audiences are enabled, you can upload a customer list (CSV) or ask our team to build an audience, then pick it in a campaign’s targeting. Uploaded lists take 5–7 business days to process.

What’s the difference between retargeting and reach extension?

Retargeting reaches people who already visited your website. The other goals, Reach Fresh Audiences and Increase Brand Recall, reach new people in the area and audience you choose.

Can I retarget website visitors on mobile devices too?

The Retargeting goal is available on Streaming TV, Display and Audio campaigns, so you can reach your visitor audience on TV screens, websites and audio apps.

How do I improve my retargeting campaigns?

Check the campaign’s report, then adjust its targeting, timing, budget or creatives from Edit Campaign.

Advertising terms

The words you’ll keep running into, in plain English.

What is CTV/OTT advertising?

It’s showing ads on streaming services and smart-TV apps, like Hulu and The Roku Channel, instead of on cable or broadcast TV.

What is CTV/OTT?

Connected TV (CTV) is a TV connected to the internet, directly or through a device. Over-the-top (OTT) is TV content streamed over the internet instead of through cable or satellite.

How does CTV/OTT advertising work?

Your ad plays in the ad breaks of streaming apps, reaching people watching on their TVs. You choose the area and audience and pay per thousand impressions.

What are impressions?

Impressions are the number of times your ad is shown to viewers.

Are my ads skippable?

Streaming TV ads generally play in full and can’t be skipped. On YouTube, you choose skippable or non-skippable ads.

What is programmatic advertising?

It’s buying ad space through software instead of by phone and insertion order. On Omnya, Streaming TV, Display and Audio are bought programmatically in publisher packages with a fixed CPM, so there’s no bidding.

What is DOOH advertising?

Digital out-of-home ads are displayed on screens in public places like malls or airports. Omnya doesn’t sell DOOH today; our channels are Streaming TV, YouTube, Display, Audio, Meta and Google Search.
